Local Authority wins award and thanked for supporting reservists

Pembrokeshire County Council has scooped the prestigious Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award for 2022.

Hywel Dda UHB reminds patients to bring their medication to hospital

When coming to hospital it is important for patients to bring their medication with them, both prescribed and bought over the counter.
Hywel Dda University Health Board (UHB) is encouraging the public to bring in all medications when attending hospital including inpatient stays, outpatient clinic appointments, pre-op assessments and out-of-hours medical service to help ensure patient safety.

They got to know each other musically after performing at the Open Mic nights in Peppers Restaurant and began playing together shortly afterwards.
BB Skone discovered them gigging in the beer garden of the Fishguard Arms during the recent Aberjazz Festival and was so impressed he signed them up for a live session

A freeport bid consortium consisting of Associated British Ports, Neath Port Talbot Council, Pembrokeshire County Council and the Port of Milford Haven has been launched to explore the case for a green freeport in South-West Wales.

Charity bingo night is top of the shop

A recent bingo event has raised vital funds for Pembrokeshire’s only Hospice at Home charity - Paul Sartori Foundation. The successful event, held at The Quins in Pembroke Dock was organised by two employees from the local ASDA store, along with their friends.

Prison term for dealer convicted of 13 drugs offences

A Milford Haven man has been jailed for four years and six months for dealing heroin, cocaine and cannabis.
Barry Anthony McElroy, aged 47, of Elm Lane, Milford Haven, was sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on Friday, 2 September.
