The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared it’s highest health emergency alert.
Monkeypox has now been declared as a global health emergency following a surge in cases by WHO.
The news follows after a second meeting was held by the WHO’s emergency meeting of the Monkeypox virus where WHO director general, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus had confirmed more than 16,000 cases have now been reported from 75 countries.
