16 year old Daniel Davies has won gold for Wales
Daniel Davies of Haverfordwest, has won the gold medal for Wales, in the Snatch AND the clean and jerk Weightlifting
16 year old Daniel Davies, who lifts for the Wales International Team, has just won 2 gold medals for Wales, competing in the Juniors Battle, being held in Austria.
Daniels winning weight lifts were;
Snatch: 92kg
Clean and Jerk: 121kg
Grace Morris aged 14 from Haverfordwest, who competed for Welsh Weightlifting, at the Junior Battle Competition, in Austria on Friday the 17th of June.
Grace, who took part in her very first international competition abroad, representing Wales in the under 15’s girls, age category, snatched - 58 kg and lifted - 80 kg in the clean and jerk.
Not only were these a new Welsh record, but also a new personal best, which saw her win gold for Wales and a top spot on the podium.
Huge congratulations to Daniel & Grace from PWR and the whole of Pembrokeshire!
