Pembrokeshire WI have some very exciting news!!
We would like to open a brand new evening WI in the Narberth and District area, run by local ladies supported by PFWI Membership Committee.
Kathryn Wilkins, Chair of PFWI Membership Committee said it has been a few years since a new WI has opened within Pembrokeshire, after careful consideration the committee had decided to hold a meeting in Narberth first, but hope to be able to open other WIs around the County too.
A public meeting will be held at the Balcony Room, Queen’s Hall, Narberth on 21st September 2023 at 7.30pm till 9pm. A very warm welcome is extended to every lady, please bring your friends with you too.
Come along and meet some of the team, who will help and advise on everything needed to open and run a WI.
We will have free light refreshments too.
The WI is the largest voluntary women’s organisation in the UK. We play a unique role in providing women with education opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.
The WI is a place to meet regularly, make new friends, and make a difference in your community.
Currently Pembrokeshire has over 40 WIs across our county.
We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to open a new WI in Pembrokeshire.
