Last Monday, 21st August, a busy coffee morning was held at Augustus Place Community Hall, ably looked after by members of the Tenby Project. Visitors from the Avenue Centre came, as well as several regulars, and lots of chatting took place.
After cooking themselves cheese and ham omelette and salad for lunch, the Tenby Project enjoyed having Jim Cornwell take them on a guided tour around Tenby, pointing out loads of interesting things that nobody had noticed before. It is amazing what interesting bits and pieces are left to see showing how things used to be.
There was just time for tea and cake on returning to Augustus Place community Hall before another day was over! On Monday 4th September, the Tenby Project will hold its usual coffee morning, and then after lunch, head up to Tenby Museum.
If anyone is interested in coming along, you can come to the coffee morning – everyone is welcome! Or come along for about 1pm if you would like to come to visit Tenby Museum.
