Folly Farm’s New Tractor Development Opens ahead of Whitsun Half Term
--
Folly Farm has always invested in their offering – continuously expanding and offering something new for their guests year upon year.
And this season is no exception!
The team have been busying themselves over the winter months, developing a brand-new ride for the whole family to enjoy. ‘Tractor Country’ is a fun, colourful experience that explores the world of farming.
Guests can hop in their own tractor and follow the winding country track, which takes you on a journey around the farm. There’s plenty of mischievous goings-on along the way including some troublesome moles and a leaking water tower.
Located between the popular Follystone go kart track and Paratrooper ride – this attraction has opened just in time for Whitsun half term!
Operations Manager, Royston Badham, has been heavily involved in the design and planning of this new development, from the initial concept, to the finished result:
“I’m so excited to have this new development open for our guests to enjoy this half term. The theming of the ride was crucial as I really wanted to ensure the fun of farming was brought to life for families. We’ve even restored some of the original farming equipment from the days when Folly Farm was a working dairy farm, which we’re extremely proud of. There’s something to see around every corner!”
“There was a huge team involved in bringing this vision to life, from landscaping , turfing and construction – to the theming, carpentry, electrical and fence work. And, of course all of the Folly Farm staff who worked so hard throughout. We’d like to thank you all.”
Tractor Country will be an additional charge attraction requiring tokens – or guests can use their ‘ride all day’ ride wristbands. There’s also a discounted rate for annual pass holders for ride wristbands.
