The CrossFit stars of the future were on show in Carew last weekend as the first ever ‘kids and teens’ event in South West Wales proved a huge success.
Organised by the thriving Crossfit Pembrokeshire company, just under 50 children aged 6-15 took part in the competition which mirrored the annual adult event. And the youngsters impressed, all taking on four workouts with determination and enthusiasm.
“It was an amazing day,” said CrossFit Pembrokeshire owner Sam Feneck.
“We had children as far as Cardiff come down and it was a great turnout. It was a true showcase of the ability of the kids involved, they all did so well and more importantly, were supporting each other all day on that floor.”
Provisions are already in place to make the competition and annual event, and any youngsters or adults wanting to know more about joining can visit the CrossFit Pembrokeshire Haverfordwest or Tenby Facebook pages for information on class times.
