Pembrokeshire FRAME shortlisted for 'UK's Favourite Charity Shop' award
Pembrokeshire FRAME has cause for celebration this week after being shortlisted for The UK’s Favourite Charity Shop of the Year Award.
The shop, which is located at Old Hakin Road in Merlin’s Bridge, has been shortlisted as one of the top six charity shops in Wales for The UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Award. This prestigious recognition is part of a nationwide search, conducted by the Charity Retail Association, to find the UK's best charity shop. Its selection reflects the hard work, dedication, and community spirit that FRAME team and its supporters have displayed in creating what they describe as 'a sustainable shopping and community engagement.'
Pembrokeshire FRAME is a supported employment and life-changing charity that provides training, meaningful occupation, and employment opportunities to individuals across Pembrokeshire. By promoting reuse and recycling through its charity shops, it contributes to both the community and the environment.
The public voting phase is now open and will run until midnight on Monday, 23rd September 2024. The votes will determine the 12 regional winning shops, with the overall winner being crowned at a special event in November.
