Two young Pembrokeshire footballers whose journey has attracted millions of views online have returned from an unforgettable trip to London.
Brothers Hunter and Braxton will be joining Pure West Radio LIVE on Monday to talk about their incredible journey so far, their London adventure and their football dreams for the future.
The brothers feature on the rapidly growing TikTok channel @thefootballerdad, run by their father Jamie Hunt. The channel now has three separate videos with more than one million views, while the boys are increasingly being recognised by members of the public.
During their trip to London, the family were stopped more than 20 times by people who recognised Hunter and Braxton from TikTok.
One of the biggest highlights was a visit to Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, where the football-mad brothers explored the stadium and posed alongside the Premier League trophy.
Jamie said: “Seeing them standing next to the Premier League trophy was emotional.”
“They are still so young, but they work incredibly hard and both have huge dreams. That photograph represents everything the channel is about: two ordinary boys from Pembrokeshire being encouraged to believe that extraordinary things are possible.”
The family also enjoyed an unforgettable stay at The Savoy, made possible with the support of Shoal, as well as visits to Harrods and Adidas Football LDN. Pembrokeshire-based Whitestone Media helped professionally document the trip.
The growing attention surrounding @thefootballerdad has also opened the door to early conversations with PUMA and Transport for Wales about potential future opportunities.
Jamie said: “We are not pretending anything is signed or guaranteed, but to now be having genuine conversations with names such as PUMA and Transport for Wales shows the direction this journey is moving in.”
The family is now actively looking for local businesses to come on board as sponsors, helping Hunter and Braxton continue their football journey and take advantage of future opportunities.
