Fire at The Rising Sun site office
The Rising Sun has shared the devastating news that their old house, now used as their site office and reception, caught fire after smoke was spotted coming down onto the site during service today.
Sadly, the building and everything inside it has been lost.
The restaurant itself is unaffected and the booking system remains live. The team says they will still be able to track Christmas bookings, but customers are being asked to bear with them while they work through the situation and replace lost records and equipment.
They have thanked Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service for their swift response and efforts to contain the fire, as well as their customers, staff, neighbours, friends and everyone who has sent messages of support.
There may be some temporary closures or disruption while everything is sorted, but the team says they will keep customers informed and minimise disruption wherever possible.
