A 'GoFundMe' page has been set up in loving memory of Andrew Rogers, whose sudden and tragic death has broken his family. Andrew sadly passed away in hospital on 1st January 2026, following a road traffic collision whilst on his return journey volunteering for 'Blood Bikes Wales' on 29th December 2025.

Andrew was deeply passionate about helping people. He was thrilled to have recently joined the Blood Bike Wales team and had been volunteering as a Street Pastor for many years. Outside of these roles he never passed up an opportunity to help others, dropping everything if asked or if he saw someone in need whether family, friend or stranger.

Andrew worked as a farmer his whole life and was well known, loved and respected in the farming community. Passing his knowledge on to his children and grandchildren and any keen visitors to the farm.

Andrew volunteered with 'Blood Bikes Wales’ and ‘Street Pastors'. He also received critical treatment from Welsh Air Ambulance who enabled Andrew to keep fighting and give his family the opportunity to say their final goodbyes. Andrew had a strong Christian faith and was an active member of the leadership team of Bethlehem Baptist Chapel for many years.

In the true spirit of Andrew, the family have chosen to donate all funds raised through this memorial fundraiser to the 4 charities detailed above.
