Three Men Charged with Murder Following Death of Kyle Bevan

Detectives have charged three men with murder after the death of a prisoner at HMP Wakefield on Wednesday 5 November.

Kyle Bevan, aged 33, who was serving a life sentence for killing two-year-old Lola James in Haverfordwest in 2020, was found dead in his cell on Wednesday morning.

Mark Fellows aged 45, Lee Newell aged 56 and David Taylor aged 63, all of whom identify as White British and were inmates at HMP Wakefield, have been charged with murder.

They’ve been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning.
