Pembrokeshire samba group Samba Doc has completed its latest charity tour, raising more than £1,600 for two good causes.

This year the group headed east, performing and meeting fellow samba bands along the way while raising money for Skanda Vale Hospice and the Stroke Association. So far, the tour has generated £1,608.50, with donations still being accepted.

Over the past decade, Samba Doc has met and performed with 29 bands across the UK, building friendships and sharing its passion for samba drumming, music and community.

The group is now looking ahead to 2028, when Samba Doc will celebrate its 20th anniversary – with another tour already on the horizon.

Donations can still be made by searching “Samba Doc Tour 2026” on GiveStar.
