An important event and opportunity for churches, chapels and graveyard organisations to seek funding for maintenance and upkeep.
The event is being organised by PLANED’s Community Assets Coordinator, Cris Tomos. Cris noted. “It is important that communities with chapels, churches and graveyards know about current grant opportunities and what policies and reports are needed to have in place to ensure much needed funding to maintain these important building and assets is drawn down”
Cris continued, “The afternoon event in Newcastle Emlyn will have ample free parking at the rugby club and will have 3 sets of panellists proving information about grants, sustainable development of heritage building and examples of how to reduce running costs and generate more community income.
All those who wish to attend need to register as there is a limited number of spaces and to indicate if they wish to have a subsidised lunch at the beginning of the event. Anyone interested needs to register online with Eventbrite.co.uk and put PLANED into the search box to find information about the event or alternatively can phone the PLANED office on 01834 860965 to book attendance at this very informative conference.
