John Roberts and Michael Jackson Crowned Valero Pairs Champions

John Roberts and Michael Jackson have been crowned winners of the Valero Pairs at Tenby Bowling Club, bringing the club’s competition season to a close.

The Tenby duo lifted the trophy following a 9–4 victory over local pair Craig and Luke Guymer in the final.

A total of 24 pairs took part in the tournament, with competitors battling it out throughout the day at the club’s Sutton Street green.

Eight-year-old Parker Rees also impressed during the competition. Partnering his dad Luke, the youngster made it through the group stages to reach the quarter-finals.

Parker has already enjoyed a memorable year on the green, becoming the youngest-ever player to represent Tenby’s first team.
