NCI Wooltack Point passes annual professional assessment
The team at NCI Wooltack Point are celebrating after successfully passing their annual Declared Facility Status assessment.
Declared Facility Status, known as DFS, is a level of professional recognition which confirms the station is operating to the high standards required by the National Coastwatch Institution and maintains its status as an asset available to HM Coastguard.
Achieving the status requires the efforts and expertise of the entire team, with volunteers working to maintain the professional standards required throughout the year.
NCI Wooltack Point has thanked its crew for their continued hard work and dedication, as well as its Search and Rescue partners, sponsors and supporters.
The station described successfully passing the annual assessment as a proud moment for the whole team.
