Sport Pembrokeshire Awards to celebrate 20 years of sporting excellence

Senior Team Achievement

Preparations are underway for this year’s Sport Pembrokeshire Awards, with the event celebrating a special milestone in 2026.

The annual awards will mark their 20th anniversary when they return to Folly Farm on Friday, November 27.

The event brings together Pembrokeshire’s sporting community to recognise the achievements and dedication of athletes, teams, coaches, organisers and volunteers from across the county.

Nominations opened on Monday, September 7, giving residents the chance to put forward those who have made a difference to local sport over the past year.

Award categories recognise both individual and team sporting achievements, alongside the coaches and volunteers whose work helps keep grassroots and community sport thriving.

Cllr Rhys Sinnett, Pembrokeshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Residents’ Services, said reaching the 20th anniversary was a testament to the strength of sport across the county.

He said the awards had spent two decades celebrating everyone from young athletes taking their first steps in sport to those who have dedicated years of service to their clubs and communities.

Organisers are now hoping to see another record number of nominations ahead of November’s anniversary event.
