𝗟𝗶𝘇 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗺

A Pembrokeshire swimming coach has battled heavy rain, strong winds and choppy waters during a challenging open water swim.

Liz faced difficult conditions from the outset, with the swim beginning in heavy rain before winds picked up and made the cold water increasingly choppy.

Poor visibility also made sighting difficult, but conditions eventually improved as the mist lifted and sunshine broke through the heavy grey clouds.

A special thank you has been given to Chillswim and its safety crew for supporting swimmers throughout the challenge.

Swimming plays a big part in Liz’s life. She teaches swimming at Tenby Leisure Centre and also volunteers as a coach with Tenby and District Swimming Club, helping others develop their confidence and skills in the water.
