Whitland Bowls club News: We have had a busy weekend at Whitland Bowls club.
On Saturday our ladies team playing their first league match against Pembroke Dock Bowls Club with Whitland winning the match 64-19.
On Sunday the club held the annual WWLBA (west wales ladies bowls association) county trails, were ladies from across the county came to Whitland to play. Was a lovely day and good games were played. Also there was a Pembrokeshire County men’s match on where Liam Price and Nico Setaro played in Pembroke Dock Bowls club. Also our Ladies captain Katie Dickinson played in the Under 25 Welsh singles in Llandrindod Wells Bowls Club winning in her first match, but sadly losing the second but by a few shots.
Today our selected Ladies from our club are playing today at Whitland club in the Semi-Finals of County O55s pairs.
And Tuesday we have a touring team West Sussex visiting the club to play a friendly game against Whitland, Milford Haven, Haverfordwest and Pendine members. We like to thank the other clubs in supporting Whitland in making up the team to play West Sussex.
We also have had notice that our very own Eleanor Davies has been selected for the Under 18s International Trails on the 25th May. From everyone at Whitland club we are very proud of Eleanor Well Done!
