Imperial Hotel to Light Up Tenby with First-Ever Fireworks This August Bank Holiday
The Imperial Hotel in Tenby has announced an exciting addition to its biggest August Bank Holiday celebrations yet, which will now see the event culminating in a stunning fireworks display. This is the first fireworks display in the hotel's history and will complete an unforgettable four-day programme of live entertainment, music and family-friendly celebrations overlooking one of Wales' most iconic coastlines.
To celebrate the announcement, the Imperial Hotel is also giving one lucky group the chance to experience the fireworks in VIP style. Through the hotel's social media channels, one lucky reader will win four places on a reserved VIP table, complete with a round of cocktails and a bottle of Prosecco, providing one of the best seats in the house for the live entertainment and firework display.
The festivities begin on Friday evening with an exclusive ticketed event featuring renowned DJ Mammoth, aka Steve Dickson, spinning Ibiza classics and house anthems overlooking South Beach. Guests will enjoy a specially prepared set menu in the Essence restaurant before dancing the night away in one of Tenby's most spectacular waterfront settings. Tickets are £25 per person.
On Saturday, the much-loved Tenby Rocks event returns from 12pm until 7pm, with music throughout the afternoon before local radio station Pure West and its DJs take to the stage from 5pm until 7pm, creating the perfect soundtrack to a summer's day by the sea.
The celebrations continue on Sunday, with the Imperial Hotel introducing fireworks to the Bank Holiday programme. Sunday lunch will be served from 5pm, followed by a live DJ set from 5pm until 10pm, before the evening reaches a magnificent finale with the hotel's first-ever fireworks display at 10pm. Set against the stunning backdrop of Tenby's coastline, the fireworks promise to be a memorable highlight of the Bank Holiday weekend and can be viewed by guests to the event or safely from the beach and other vantage points in the town.
Rounding off the long weekend, Monday will see another afternoon of live entertainment from 12pm until 6pm, inspired by the popular Tenby Rocks format, with laid-back reggae sounds creating the perfect atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy the final day of the Bank Holiday.
