Milford Waterfront is preparing for a magical festive season, with events and experiences for all ages. Home to a wide selection of independent shops and places to eat throughout the year, in the lead up to Christmas there’ll be a festive market and family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy.
So, what’s happening this season at Milford Waterfront?
Indoor Christmas Market From 21st – 23rd November, the Link Building will host a cosy indoor Christmas Market. Guests can browse handcrafted gifts and local treats, then enjoy festive dining and explore the unique shops and eateries around the Waterfront.
Creative Christmas Cards for Kids
Children aged 3–12 years can take part in artist-led, print-your-own Christmas card sessions at the Waterfront Gallery on 22nd, 29th, and 30th November. These free sessions must be booked in advance by calling the gallery on 07949 763100.
Santa by the Sea Santa will arrive at Milford Waterfront by Lifeboat on 6th December, before heading to Milford Haven Town Hall for the Christmas Lights Switch-On, in a special ‘Santa by the Sea’ event. Festivities include musical and walkabout entertainment, the chance to meet reindeer, facepainting, family activities, and a live outdoor broadcast by Pure West Radio.
Indoor Ice Skating at Sybil House
From 12th to 14th December, families can enjoy indoor synthetic ice skating from 12pm to 8pm. This fun, festive activity offers all the joy of skating without the chill, and is the only ice skating opportunity in Pembrokeshire.
Purely Magical Christmas Grotto
On 7th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th & 21st December, families can visit the Purely Magical Christmas Grotto from Pure West Radio. Tickets must be booked in advance and price includes meeting Santa and the elves, professional photography, chocolate gifts and more.
Community Christmas Light Competitions Every year, Milford Waterfront, Milford Marina and Visit Milford Haven invite berth holders, businesses, and local residents to get creative with their festive displays each year. Anyone visiting in December can enjoy the creative shopfronts, balcony displays, and beautifully adorned boats on a walk around Milford Marina.
