Image0 (45)

It was lovely to catch up with my good friend Amanda Absalom-Lowe at the Haverfordwest River Festival 2026 on the Riverside Shopping Centre

Amanda runs the Pembrokeshire Care, Share & Give charity which does amazing work in our community.

Pembrokeshire Care Share & Give is a Non Profit Charity that has been set up to try and help lots of charities, Community groups and people in Pembrokeshire and other surrounding areas of wales, UK and sometimes Ireland and our families in Kenya, who need that extra help if needed.

Times are hard for everyone, but it has been set up by Amanda Absalom-Lowe (Chairperson & founder of PCS&G) of Haverfordwest to get the word out that most things are recyclable and it can raise money for charity and the Community along the way.

This is not a new group or charity!, we have actually been doing this for over 13 years! This hasn't happened over night! we started in 2009 and have tried for years to promote and get more folks to recycle4charity!!

We used to recycle your household or Business rubbish. This can now be taken to Norman Industries in Snowdrop Lane,  every day waste like  Crisp Packets, savory packets, peanuts packets, Sweet Wrappers & Biscuit wrappers, Used Stationary, Even Old mobile phones, your used stationary, used Postage Stamps and so much more! Please contact Norman Industries for more information on terracycle@pembrokeshire.gov.uk

We currently save food and products being wasted and collect from local supermarkets businesses and groups. We help donate surplus to help those in need working people and supply hot and cold food to Community, groups and charities. To date we have  also saved tonnes of food  being wasted and helped feed people.

Any Unwanted things like clothes, shoes, unwantedhousehold items, Bric a Brac, Toys and lots more!

Any clothes, shoes, Bric-a-Brac etc donated , like new or good condition items may be sold on auctions , groups, carboot’s etc and anyone can make a purchase, offer or bid. The money raised is then donated to charities, or food, toiletries and household items are bought for those in need, handed to our Homeless,  Groups & charities all over UK or Items are also used for our Rainbow Emergency Packs which are donated to local Hospitals for those in need of washing facilities when admitted to Hospital in an Emergency.

New toys are bought for various Xmas Toy appeals which are donated to Patch Charity, 3 Amigos and The Hospital Children’s Ward within Wales, Including the Children Hospital in Bristol. Second hand and good quality toys are also donated to the Ronald Macdonald House for their Christmas toy sale or local children’s wards. New and used reading books are sometimes also donated to doctors surgeries for the waiting area, hospitals and where needed.

A great deal of items are also donated to charities, like clothes and household items to those in need. Raffle prizes are also donated to help other fundraising events and Items are also taken to charity shops for them to sell as we donate always have room to store these. Old Tatty clothes or rags as they call them are also taken and weighed to cash in.

If you have any unwanted house hold items New or Used, these will be donated to Patch charity or families needing new items due to unfortunate fires and loosing their home or job. Items are also bought for homeless emergency packs or those in need and are made up ready to donate when needed. Items are also donated to help people start up their own home.
Items are also purchased and we send lots of filled Shoe Boxes to all our Hero’s when they are on deployment away from their families. Sometime items donated are re-used to help Community or School programmes like a Sensory Garden or a buddy bench or painting etc.
