Enter a float for FREE this year at Haverfordwest Carnival!
Pure West Radio and Haverfordwest Town Council are delighted to announce that the Haverfordwest Carnival will return on Saturday 15th August from 12pm–6pm, following the fantastic success of last summer’s comeback event.
After such an incredible response from the local community, plans are already underway to make this year’s carnival even bigger and better, with a full day of entertainment, community spirit, and family fun planned for the town.
As part of the celebrations, organisers are now inviting local businesses, community groups, schools, charities, clubs, and organisations to submit expressions of interest to take part in this year’s carnival parade with their own decorated float.
To make it as easy as possible to get involved, organisers will provide:
- A float trailer with safety rails
- A lorry
- A professional driver
- Insurance cover
All participants need to do is bring their creativity and decorate the float.
The carnival parade will once again bring colour and excitement through the streets of Haverfordwest, alongside live music, performances, community entertainment, and activities for all ages.
We are creating a Free Children’s Zone, giving local families access to a range of free activities throughout the day. Current plans include live entertainment, family attractions, interactive activities, and a headline act, helping create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for everyone attending at the Picton Playing Fields.
With another fantastic turnout expected, this year’s Haverfordwest Carnival promises to be a true celebration of community spirit.
