Tenby-raised rugby star Courtney Keight has received one of the year's top Welsh rugby honours after being named Women's Player of the Season by the Welsh Rugby Writers' Association.
The Sale Sharks centre, who grew up in Tenby and attended Ysgol Greenhill, received the accolade following her performances for Wales during the past season.
Keight was recognised alongside Saracens prop Rhys Carre, who was named the association's Men's Player of the Season.
The awards also saw Cardiff centre Steffan Emanuel named Wales Men's Young Player of the Year, while scrum-half Seren Lockwood received the women's young player accolade.
Ebbw Vale and Canada flanker Sion Parry was named Super Rygbi Cymru Player of the Season.
Keight's award adds another major achievement to the career of the former Tenby pupil, who is also part of the Wales starting XV named to face South Africa on Friday, with fellow Pembrokeshire-linked player Lisa Neumann named on the wing.
