170925 Man arrested in illegal e-bike operation
On Friday and Saturday the 5th and 6th of September 2025, officers from Pembroke Dock conducted an illegal e-bike operation which saw officers tackling the increasing issue of e-bikes being ridden dangerously and causing anti-social behaviour.
The operation involved several overt and covert tactics as well as the use of specialist departments.
During the operation, a e-bike was successfully stopped and a 23-year-old man from Monkton was arrested on suspicion fail to stop, dangerous driving, possession of controlled drugs, drug drive and no insurance. He has been released on bail pending further police enquiries. The e-bike was recovered and is in the process for destruction.
Officers continue to investigate reports of verbal threats and antisocial behaviour linked to e-bike riders in Pembroke Dock and are working to identify those responsible and ensure they are dealt with appropriately.
