Senedd Member for Mid and West Wales, Eluned Morgan is reminding residents in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire to share their views on the future of bus services in the region as a summer long consultation comes to an end.

Transport for Wales has been listening to the views of local residents from Pembrokeshire to Port Talbot over the summer to better understand the changing needs of people who rely upon public transport or those who might consider a switch away from their car in future.

Consultation events have already taken place in Haverfordwest, Ammanford, Carmarthen and Fishguard with local residents being urged to have their say using the online portal which remains open until 23rd September.

Eluned Morgan MS said: “The Welsh Government remains committed to changing the way our bus services work by creating one network linking all public transport together, one timetable to connect our networks and one ticket to ensure charges are consistent and affordable.

“South west Wales will be the first part of the country where this new approach will come into effect from 2027, so now is the right time to listen to the views of our communities so that we can build local views and ideas into the plan for what comes next.  If you haven’t heard about the consultation or have yet to feed back your views, now is the time to get involved.”

For further information about the consultation and how to share  your views on what matters to you, visit https://haveyoursay.tfw.wales/bus-reform before September 23rd.
