Free Parking Temporarily Introduced at Old Haverfordwest Library Car Park
Residents of the Castle Ward have been informed that parking charges at the Old Haverfordwest Library car park on Dew Street will be suspended from 17 November 2025 until the New Year, according to an update issued by Ateb’s Chief Executive and shared by Cllr Thomas Tudor, County Councillor for the Castle Ward.
Ateb has begun a review of how the Dew Street car park is operated. While this review is underway, the company has confirmed that no parking fees will apply during the temporary suspension period. Visitors are advised, however, that use of the car park remains at their own risk, as stated on-site.
A spokesperson for ateb said the organisation aims to establish new operational arrangements in the New Year, aligning the car park’s terms, rates, and conditions with those used in local Pembrokeshire County Council–run facilities. “Until we agree the new arrangements, we will not be in a position to share more detail,” the Chief Executive added.
Residents with questions are encouraged to contact Cllr Thomas Tudor directly.
