LABOUR’S CHANGES TO NHS PERFORMANCE DATA PUBLICATIONS AN ATTEMPT TO DISTRACT FROM FAILING RECORD
Plaid Cymru spokesperson for health and social care, Mabon ap Gwynfor MS said:
“Labour's mismanagement of the NHS is clear for all to see. Despite the First Minister pledging to eradicate two year NHS waits by March 2023 - over 8,000 patients are still waiting over two years, and it's actually increased from last month.
"Instead of focusing on delivering better outcomes for patients, the Labour Welsh Government are intent on changing how these figures are estimated in order to make themselves look better come the election in May.
"Plaid Cymru has ready to go plans to get to grips with NHS waiting lists, and measures to make the NHS more efficient in the long term. This crisis has gone on for far too long, and it's time for positive change with Plaid Cymru.”
