WHAT A WIN FOR HAVERFORDWEST GOLF CLUB!

Huge congratulations to the Seniors at Haverfordwest Golf Club, who have lifted the prestigious Centenary Challenge Cup at Tenby Golf Club!

Competing against Glynhir, Carmarthen and Tenby Golf Clubs, Haverfordwest’s eight pairs delivered a fantastic team performance to secure victory on a course where away wins are notoriously hard to come by!

Established in 2007, the Centenary Challenge Cup brings together clubs across West Wales that have celebrated their centenary — making this a brilliant achievement for the Haverfordwest team!

Congratulations to captain John Rees and the entire squad: Lynn Davies, Steve Rigby, Alex Pile, Eoin MacDougall, Carl Evans, Gelly James, Byron Williams, Steve Clancy, Kevin Watson, Robert Ridge, Martin Himsworth, Phil Rugg, Roger Mathews, Jon Owen and Bob Nolan.

Every player played their part in a superb team effort, flying the flag for Haverfordwest and doing their club proud!

Champions of the Centenary Challenge Cup — what an achievement!

Congratulations to everyone involved!
