Local Artist Of The Week: LOST ROOTS

Lost Roots (formerly known as La Loba) is Tom Jam (bass) and Becca Taunton (guitar/vocals) aided by drummer Jack Jones. The band blends folk, roots, reggae and dub to create their signature high vibe west coast sound - lilting folk melodies meet deep bass lines and warm, dub-laced grooves; music with a positive message that is also highly danceable.

All tracks played this week were recorded live in session for the BB Skone Show at Haverfordwest's Black Label Studios.

The band have an album in the pipeline and will also be heard all over Pembrokeshire this coming spring and summer. Their next gig is as headliners for the all-day Garden Party being held as a celebration of the creativity of Pembrokeshire artists at Manorbier House, Manorbier on Saturday 25th April from 10am.
