Paul Sartori 17 Hour Golf Challenge
Twelve brave (foolhardy?) golfers will be undertaking quite a challenge on 19th June 2026 at the Rosemarket Golf Club in Pembrokeshire.
The three teams of 4 are:
In RED: Patrick 'Captain' Bellerby, Jeremy Evans, Luke Young & Alex Young
In BLUE: Damian Haworth, Paul Hayler, John Rees & Alex James
In GREEN: Neil Hainsworth, Marc Edwards, Andrew 'Garbo' Ramage & Chris Bourne
The challenge is to complete the 18-hole course FOUR times in one day, and given it takes typically 4hrs to play one round, we anticipate a LONG day, probably in the region of 17hrs+, starting at 4am.
We will have to walk the entire time, buggies are NOT allowed!
There will be three teams taking part in the day, with competitions between us all and support from all at Rosemarket Golf Club to keep us fed and watered!
All donations will be gratefully received, thanks!
PSF was initiated in May 1981 by a group of Father Paul Sartori’s parishioners, a much loved local priest, who died at the age of 38 in 1980. The Foundation was set up as Father Sartori had recognised a need for hospice care in Pembrokeshire, but unfortunately he became ill himself and died from cancer before the Foundation was formed. Despite these origins, PSF has no religious affiliations and services have always been available to all, its mission is "to provide sustainable services which promote good end of life care in Pembrokeshire".
