Welsh Blood Service - Pembrokeshire Year to Date Donation Results
Across all the sessions held in Pembrokeshire this year, the Welsh Blood Serive collected an incredible total of 3,928 donations.
As one donation can save up to three lives, or help up to six newborn babies, this means these donations could help save 11,784 adults or potentially 23,568 babies.
Sadly, the need for blood never stops, and the winter period is particularly challenging, as blood stocks often drop at this time of year. In the New Year, The Welsh Blood Service will be holding a series of blood donation sessions across Pembrokeshire to help ensure a stable and healthy blood supply for patients across Wales.
The upcoming blood donation sessions in Pembrokeshire are scheduled as follows:
• Pill Social Club, Milford Haven – Monday 5 January
• The Regency Hall, Saundersfoot – Friday 9 January
• The Pavilion, Haverfordwest – Monday 19 January
• Canolfan Hermon – Thursday 22 January
• Pater Hall, Pembroke Dock – Friday 23 January
• Letterston Village Hall – Monday 26 January
• Queen’s Hall, Narberth – Thursday 29 January
