FLIGHT DISRUPTION AT BRISTOL AIRPORT
Passengers travelling through Bristol Airport today are being warned of flight cancellations and delays following a technical issue affecting air traffic control.
The problem at the NATS Prestwick centre in Scotland is impacting airspace across northern and central England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with restrictions currently in place.
A number of Bristol Airport arrivals and departures have been affected, although airports south of Manchester are broadly unaffected. Flights heading north, along with departures from Scottish airports, are experiencing some delays.
Passengers are advised to check directly with their airline before travelling.
NATS says the issue is unrelated to the disruption experienced two weeks ago and has apologised for the inconvenience.
