APPEAL | Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses of a road traffic collision on the A40 near Llanddewi Velfrey

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision involving a van and a cyclist on the A40 near Llanddewi Velfrey at around 8.10am this morning (22 August).

 

The cyclist was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The road is closed for collision investigation and is expected to remain closed for some time.

 

One man, aged 33, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving an unfit vehicle. He remains in police custody at this time.
