Cantabile Singers of Pembrokeshire entertain the 2k visitors arriving at Fishguard Port
Cantabile singers of Pembrokeshire had a very busy afternoon of singing entertaining the visitors who had arrived into Fishguard harbour on Thursday 21st May. The 71,304-tonne luxury cruise ship AIDASOL with a beautiful face painted on her bow was a striking sight.
Cantabile sang their crowd-pleasing feel-good tunes as the passengers awaited their tender to take them back on board after a day’s sightseeing around Pembrokeshire.
Jill Ellis the Chairperson of Cantabile and Pure West Radio’s presenter of Lawrie’s Lifestyle Show said “We look forward to the Summer Season of visitors as its always a joy to entertain crowds not from our shores. They love joining in with us and it’s a lasting memory for them as they head off on more adventures.”
Yesterday Friday 22nd May Cantabile presented a cheque to Morrisons chosen Charity Marie Curie. Jill said “Another highlight of our calendar and completes our festive season of events is singing our Christmas Songs to the shoppers in Morrisons. Their generosity means we can donate a sum to Morrisons charity of the year. It won’t be long until we are back!
Meanwhile we are practicing very hard for our performance competing in The Eisteddfod. In the “New to the Eisteddfod category” We will be known as Cantorion Cantabile Sir Benfro. “
