Green Party Candidates announced in Ceredigion Penfro Constituency for upcoming 2026 Senedd elections

The Green Parties of Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire have announced their list of candidates

who will be running in next year’s Senedd Election for the new Ceredigion Penfro

constituency. These Senedd Elections will be run on a new electoral system where voters

can truly vote for a party they believe will help solve the problems faced by people in Wales.

The Green Party offers hope, not despair; long-term solutions, not short-term rewards.

Lead Green Candidate ready to fight for a Senedd Seat.

Top of the list is Amy Nicholass. Amy lives in north Pembrokeshire, living and working across

both counties for the last five years, so is ideally placed to recognise and address issues in

both Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. With a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science Amy

has spent the last decade passionately calling for environmental and social justice. At

Aberystwyth University she ran an initiative called THINK about better joined up thinking

around transport and health across Wales. As a regular bus and train user she soon became

actively involved in the campaign for better public transport in Ceredigion.
