PEMBROKESHIRE WALKING GROUPS INVITED TO JOIN NEW COUNTY-WIDE DIRECTORY

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and PAVS are calling on walking and hiking groups across the county to get involved in a new initiative aimed at helping more people enjoy the outdoors.

The two organisations are working together to create a county-wide directory of walking and hiking groups, making it easier for residents to find activities suited to their interests, abilities and fitness levels.

From challenging coastal hikes and regular local walks to gentle community strolls, wellbeing activities and accessible walking groups, organisers are keen to hear from groups of all types and sizes.

The initiative aims to encourage more people to get active, connect with others and discover the walking opportunities available on their doorstep.

Existing walking groups, along with anyone considering setting up a new group, are encouraged to get involved.
