Vision Arts Celebrates Fifth Year of Popular Minis Summer Youth Project
Vision Arts is delighted to announce the return of its much-loved Minis Summer Youth Project for 2026, marking the fifth year of the hugely successful programme designed specifically for young performers.
Since launching five years ago, the Minis Summer Youth Project has welcomed hundreds of children from across Pembrokeshire, providing a fun, supportive and creative introduction to the world of theatre and performance. This summer, the project returns bigger and better than ever, offering another exciting week packed with imagination, creativity and theatrical magic.
Designed especially for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, the project is perfect for youngsters who love to sing, dance, perform, tell stories or simply let their imaginations run wild. Whether they're constantly putting on shows at home, creating characters, or love being centre stage, the Minis Summer Youth Project provides the ideal environment to build confidence, make friends and develop new skills.
Throughout the week, participants will take part in engaging workshops led by professional arts practitioners, exploring acting, singing, dancing, storytelling and creative play. Together, the group will create something truly special before stepping into the spotlight for a performance for family and friends at the end of the week.
Drew Baker - Creative Director at Vision Arts, said:
"The Minis Summer Youth Project has become one of the highlights of our year. Watching young people grow in confidence, make new friendships and discover a love for the arts is incredibly rewarding. We are thrilled to be celebrating the fifth year of this wonderful project and can't wait to welcome another group of talented young performers this summer."
The project will run from Monday 20th July to Friday 24th July, with sessions taking place daily from 9:30am until 12:30pm. The week will culminate in a special performance on Friday 24th July at 2:30pm, giving participants the opportunity to showcase everything they have learned.
A summer filled with creativity, friendship, laughter and unforgettable memories awaits, but spaces are limited and always in high demand.
