Terrific Ticket Prices for Children and Families at the Torch Cinema this Summer

As a way of making this summer more affordable for families the Torch Theatre will be offering cinema tickets at a discounted price to anyone under 16as part of the UK Government ‘Great British Summer Savings’ scheme, that sees VAT being slashed. The scheme encourages families across Wales and England to take advantage of lower prices on children’s days out, meals and travel, with cinema tickets at the Torch being offered at an all time low.

Between Friday 3 July and Tuesday 1 September, the Torch Theatre here in Milford Haven will offer under 16 year old cinema tickets for £5.25, family tickets for £21.00, 3D under 16 tickets for £5.80 and 3D family tickets for £23.00 offering huge savings. The discount applies automatically to all eligible screenings and cannot be applied to tickets already purchased or for screenings outside of these dates.

We are not required to pass on the VAT saving, but we are firm believers in providing the best value for audiences and this scheme is allowing us to do just that. These summer measures are part of a broader package the government has put in place to help households with the pressures of rising costs, made worse by the conflict in the Middle East affecting global supply chains and energy markets.
