Pure West Parlour Officially Opens Its Doors in Haverfordwest
Following a successful "Soft Scoop Launch" on Friday 24th July, Pure West Parlour has officially opened its doors in the heart of Haverfordwest and is now welcoming customers Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
The celebrations continue with the Official Launch Party on Monday 3rd August from 10am, where everyone is invited to come along, meet the team and celebrate Pure West Parlour's exciting new chapter.
To mark the occasion, we're giving away a FREE scoop of Mario's Ice Cream to every visitor during the first hour (10am–11am), so be sure to arrive early!
Located at 2 Front High Street, Haverfordwest, SA61 2DJ, directly next door to Pure West Radio HQ, the Parlour has been created as a welcoming community hub where residents and visitors can relax, enjoy refreshments and discover everything Pure West Radio has to offer.
The official opening was led by Haverfordwest Mayor, Cllr Randell Izaiah Thomas-Turner.
The ceremony was also attended by Sheriff Cllr Dani Thomas-Turner, Deputy Mayor Cllr Adam Benson-Davies, and Deputy Mayoress Alex Dare, who wished the team every success and praised the venture as another positive investment in the continued regeneration and success of Haverfordwest.
Adding a nostalgic touch to the occasion was Pat Swales, proprietor of the former Swales Music Centre, which occupied the building for many years.
Her attendance celebrated the building's rich history, as one well-known local business passed the baton to another, highlighting the continued evolution of Haverfordwest's High Street.
Designed as much more than an ice cream parlour, Pure West Parlour brings together community, events, refreshments and everything listeners love about Pembrokeshire's only hyper-local radio station.

The Parlour also serves as the official box office for many of the events promoted and delivered by Pure West Radio and its partners, providing a convenient place to purchase tickets, collect information and stay up to date with what's happening across the county.
One of the Parlour's standout attractions is its premium refreshment offering. Customers can enjoy Mario's Ice Cream, freshly prepared barista coffee, iced coffees, smoothies, milkshakes, refreshing cold drinks and frappés. Bubble tea and sundaes will be arriving soon, adding another exciting option to the menu.
A range of trending vending machines, exclusive Pure West merchandise and unique products further add to the visitor experience.
