COMMONWEALTH BRONZE FOR GARY!
A huge congratulations to SAW athlete Gary Nunn following a fantastic performance representing Wales at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Winnipeg, Canada.
Competing in the Masters 3 (60–69 age Cat) - 105kg class, Gary also made a little bit of Welsh powerlifting history as the first M3 male athlete to represent Wales.
And he came home with four Commonwealth medals:
Squat — Bronze
Bench Press — Silver
Deadlift — Bronze
Overall — Bronze
A brilliant achievement at the biggest competition of Gary’s powerlifting career and a very well-deserved result.
