COMMONWEALTH SILVER & BRONZE FOR HELEN!
A huge congratulations to SAW athlete Helen Carrington following a fantastic 10 days representing Wales at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Winnipeg, Canada
Competing in the M2 -84kg class, Helen came away with two Commonwealth medals:
Silver - Bench Only
Bronze - Bench Press in the Full Power competition
7th Overall - Full Power
Helen also spent time supporting and coaching the Welsh team between her two competitions.
Another fantastic international achievement for Helen and great to see all her hard work rewarded on the Commonwealth stage.
