Paul Davies MS and Cllr Jamie Street team up to support Pembroke Dock Macmillan Coffee Morning

Paul Davies MS for Ceredigion Penfro and Pembroke Dock County Councillor Jamie Street have joined members of the community at Bethel Baptist Church in Pembroke Dock to support this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning.

Mr Davies and Cllr Street attended the event on Friday (25 September), meeting local residents and volunteers who had come together over coffee and cake to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Friday 25 September is the official date for Macmillan Coffee Morning 2026, the charity’s biggest annual fundraising event. Coffee Mornings take place in communities across the UK, raising funds to support people living with cancer.

During the visit they were provided with a tour of the Church and details of all the community activities that are held during the week including a food bank, café and services.

“It was a real pleasure to join Cllr Jamie Street and everyone at Bethel Baptist Church for their Macmillan Coffee Morning.

“Macmillan provides invaluable support to people living with cancer and their families, and every cup of coffee, slice of cake and donation helps support that important work.

“It was wonderful to see people coming together here in Pembroke Dock, and I know there are many other Coffee Mornings taking place in communities right across Ceredigion Penfro.

“A huge thank you to everyone at Bethel Baptist Church who organised the event, and to everyone who baked, donated or simply popped along for a cuppa and a slice of cake.

Cllr Jamie Street said:

“It was great to join Paul and members of the local community at Bethel Baptist Church on Bush Street and support such a worthwhile cause.

“Events like this demonstrate the fantastic community spirit we have here in Pembroke Dock, while raising money to help Macmillan continue its important work.”

Macmillan says donations from Coffee Mornings help it support the almost 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
