Local Artist of the Week: LAFANT

Lafant is a young indie-rock trio from the Dinas area fronted by Mefin Hughes (who also plays in the Dhogie Band - a recent Artist of the Week). The band has an high energy, raw, contemporary sound that nods towards Britpop, 60s rock, surf, and '90s grunge and are considered part of a new wave of guitar driven Welsh language music.

The self-penned songs chosen are taken from the recently released debut album, Segurdod, on the Cardigan based Fflach label.
