Across the country, Loungers teams are planning more than 1,000 individual fundraising events, supporting hundreds of local charities. Last year, LoungeAid raised an impressive £285,000 — and this year the nationwide target is a whopping £300,000.
Quote from GM: Jack Adams, General Manager, Lansio Lounge says: “We’re really excited and honoured to represent the Forever 11 charity – a charity that has created something so positive and meaningful from such a heartbreaking situation. We’re proud to support the amazing work they do and we’re hopeful that locals and tourists alike will enjoy getting involved in all the activities we’ve put on throughout June in support of this!”
Lounges have always been rooted in their communities — from hosting local groups and events, offering random acts of kindness, and raising money for causes that matter to their teams. LoungeAid is a continuation of this - a grassroots fundraising model where each Lounge chooses the causes that matter in their neighbourhood and rallies their community to make a difference.
Nick Collins, CEO, Loungers, says: “LoungeAid is a real highlight in our community calendar. We can’t wait to kick off this year’s on Monday 1st June and see the crazy, creative and brilliant things our teams come up with to raise much‑needed funds for local charities — all while bringing their communities together.”
Established in 2015, LoungeAid is Loungers’ biggest annual charity initiative, uniting teams across the UK in a month of fundraising to create real, local impact. Since its launch, the campaign has raised over £650,000 for charities nationwide.
