Local Artist of the Week: MENIG 19/07/26

Menig is the performing name of 18 year old musician Sam Kelly from St Davids. He has just released a four track EP titled 'Crowd Sounds' on BWGiBWGAN Records (which is an offshoot of Carmarthen's well known Libertino Records). All the tracks from it are featured this week.

Menig's music defies easy classification but you could say it is innovative boundary pushing Welsh music that is uncompromising and personal mixing elements of rap, dance, experimental electronica, and alt-rock.

All the elements of his music are created himself but when he chatted to BB Skone  he told BB that his next work will be with a full band. Undoubtedly, given the right breaks and perseverance, Menig has the potential to be huge.
