Local Artist of the Week: J.C. GREENE. 15-09-25

J.C.Greene is a singer/songwriter from Liverpool who is currently living in Goodwick and working at the Ocean Lab there as part of his studies in Marine Conservation.

In Liverpool, he fronted the Probes, a pyschedelic rock band, who had some measure of success. Since moving to Pembrokeshire he has been performing solo and acoustically, playing mainly his own self-penned songs, five of which are featured this week. He recently performed at the Aberjazz Festival in Fishguard.

These songs were all recorded live in session with BB Skone and they can also be heard, together with an interview, on BB Skone's Show of Sunday 14th September (available on Catch-up). J.C. told BB his main influences were the likes of Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, and Nick Drake though his cool songs are drawn from his own personal experiences.
