Local Artist of the Week: LOUIS O'HARA 23/06/25

Louis O'Hara (pictured) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and film maker from Pembroke Dock. He has returned to west Wales after graduating from Bristol University.

He has been busy with a number of projects, including working to help establish a recording studio at Carmarthen's iconic music venue, Cwrw.

Louis's latest project has been to release an EP, Pass The Blame (pictured), on Half Normal Records, which is available to stream and download on the usual platforms. All the tracks featured this week have been taken from it, plus a bonus track (I'd Like To Be).

His music has a gentle laid back, melodic, groove with an experimental feel. Although influenced by Welsh musicians such as Euros Childs and John Cale, Louis's music is very much his own man.
