Local Artist of the Week: THE BUFFERLANDERS.

The Bufferlanders is an acoustic trio from that area of Pembroke Dock who specialise in recording songs about people, places, and events in Pembrokeshire.

The band members are experienced veterans of the local music scene - Tim Facer (vocals, guitar, songwriter, producer), Andy Brindley (harmonica, saxophone) and Pete Mitchell (bass).

All five songs featured this week were recorded in Tim's home studio. The one about Neyland features a voice over from Pete's wife, Marilyn (as Queen Victoria).

The final one, the first Christmas song to be featured this year on the BB Skone Show, has a voice over from BB himself. And the excellent video of the song (created by Sharron Harris of Curious Ostrich Productions) has BB playing the role of a famous Christmas character. We won't say which character but suffice to say BB has been apprehended eating unattended staff lunches from the PWR communal fridge to fatten himself up for the part.
