Local Artist of the Week: THE CANDY SKULLS 01-09-25

The Candy Skulls are the first band in the new, exciting collaboration between PWR and Black Label Studios (located in the old Swales Music Centre Buliding next to the PWR studios), featured as "Live in Session with BB Skone".

BB has always showcased live sessions but until now has not been able to present full bands from the PWR studio as it is only set up for acoustic acts. So this is amazing news for the Pembrokeshire music scene!

The Candy Skulls is a talented and successful four piece rock covers band from the south of the county with the current line-up featuring Andrew Gledhill (guitars), Niamh Macphail (lead vocals), Gary Price (bass & b/vs), and Nick Barnett (drums & b/vs). They play a lot of '80s electro pop & rock which sets them apart from any other covers bands though there's plenty of rock & new wave classics too.

The Candy Skulls session, which was recorded and produced by Chris Black, including the full interview, can be heard on Catch-up. Search for the BB Skone Show of Sunday 31st August.
